Things I've Discovered

Check out this cool website with daily deals in your area: Groupon.

I want to have my granddaughters over to do this! I love the way the paints dry! FUN FUN!!

I have a special place in my heart for snowpeople...I want to make this!

Just ordered this cook book! I've know the author for years and have had the pleasure of eating quite a bit of her and her families cooking! It's more than a cookbook, it would make a great Christmas gift check it out!

Big Love

I love taking quizzes! I was looking around on the web and was checking out Big Love, they have a quiz "Which Sister Wife Are You Like".  It was fun, if you're a Big Love fan check it out see who you're like, I'm like Margene! She is my favorite character.  On that note: I can't imagine being in a polygamist marriage! I'm way too needy of my hubby's time, I wouldn't be good at sharing him! Unless, the other wives only duties were cooking, cleaning, working (bringing home the money), and taking care of the kids and I got to be the one that went on vacation with our hubby, shopping, and share the bedroom with our hubby (the ONLY one). That would be the only way!! I asked Richard (My hubby) if he would want multiple wives, he said "NOOO WAY, I can hardley handle the one I've got".  LOL I'm very thankful it's just the two of us! We make a good team! GOOO TEAM KALE!

I'm getting grossed out as I type this Richard is watching a cooking show and they are talking about eating brains and other gross stuff! Great for my diet!

Happy Black Friday!
I was one of the few smart shoppers and stayed snuggled up in bed this morning! Boy and I glad! Looking at the news and all the lines and people rushing around like crazy!
I found a really cool website that have special deals everyday! Check it out:  They had Dior lipstick for $12.00! It's hard...because I want to shop for me! LOL I know, it's not much in the spirit of giving!
Today, is decorating for Christmas day! I can't wait!! I first need to do some cleaning and rearranging of furnature! I'm going to make some hot chocolate and get started!

This is me and my brother Danny decorating our little tree a few years ago...ok maybe a little more than a FEW years ago! LOL

The Day Before Thanksgiving....and All Through The House!

I can't believe Thanksgiving is already here!  Thanksgiving is always a hard time for me because this was a special day before my mom passed away!!
My mom would make the best dinner in the world, her Stuffing was the BEST ever! I've tried to make it, but I just can't seem to get it right.
My hubby is so sweet, he knew this was a hard holiday and offered to cook the entire meal! I told him we can do it together! Sweet, huh?  This morning I pulled out my Grandma Wards Sweet Potato Casserole recipe.  It is sooo yummy! It has a topping kind of like a pecan pie but made with walnuts.
This picture is of my Grandma Ward (my dad's mom), myself and my big brother Danny.
It looks like the only ones coming to diner will be my hubby, myself and my son! Well, I'm sure Gunner baby will be sitting close by hoping something drops on the floor!
It should be a nice time!

I wish everyone a Happy Blessed Holiday!!

Blogging

I'm such a blog stocker! I get so inspired by other blogs I read; the touching stories, great craft ideas and beautiful pictures.  I've always wanted to join in on the blog craze, what's stopped me until now?  I've worried that I wouldn't keep up with it, worried that I couldn't get the hang of how it all works and really worried I'd have nothing to say. LOL That was then this is now!  I'm not going to pressure myself trying to blog everyday, when I have something to say or share I'll do it! On getting the hang of it, well one step at a time! This is a work in progress, I will change it up as I learn more about the blog world.  On having nothing to say? LOL that's the funniest of all, I alway have something to say...just ask my family and friends!

I've always tried to keep a journal and have never stuck with it, which make me sad! I've read some of my incomplete journals and have really enjoyed to see where I was at age 11 and how much had changed by age 16.  I do believe this will be a great way to keep a journal and share ideas and pictures that mean something to me!!

So here is to day one of my blogging journey!! YIPPEE SKIPPEE!!
